Medical Release from Physical Activity
Students are expected to participate in physical education unless a doctor's note is provided excusing him/her from participation. A copy of the doctor's note should be given to the school nurse the first day the student returns to school.
We expect our students to:
- wear appropriate footwear. Please no slip on sneakers, sneakers with wheels, or sneakers with thick soles. These types of sneakers can lead to an injury.
- try their best. Our lessons are designed to help each student find success regardless of skill level.
- make good choices. We believe that children can learn to make good choices with our guidance and an opportunity to reflect on the decision making process and the resulting consequences. Students are encouraged to make safe, respectful, and responsible decisions.
